if your are rich you will see lots and lots of smoke. if you are lean engine will have less smoke and it will not take up full speed. then engine will overlt heat and quit.
always if you too rich lean if you too lean rich by 1/8 of a turn. when tune your high is always frist then your low.
you tune untill you no longer see any good stuff then what you already tune before you tune by a 1/8 more.

yes, for all nitros too but this focus on traxxes engines. but what ever they talk about on tune gos the same in all engines.

if you get lots of smoke at idle and if you see gas out of your pipe low is too rich.
lean it out by 1/8 of a turn. also it maybe your idle screw let the car with your battery on. idle for 15 sec if your car can run that long its not a idle its a lean thing.
i main your low end needs leaning out by a 8th turn at a time.

heyy my t-maxx starts but then turns off WHY? but when i hold the starter ill not turn off but when i let it go ill turn off. do you know why?? NEED THE HELP Plz.

Glow plug isn't staying hot. Replace the glow plug. I've had the same problem 20 times, and it's always the glow plug.

@VideoGamePlayer12 got my s maxx 3.3 and dont regret a thing about going nitro. yes maintainence is alot more complicated, but well worth it.

@VideoGamePlayer12 haha whatt? really that sucks. one of my next door neighbors are dicks and took my old man to court for partys n shit. so first day i get it im doing wheelies in his grass, running over his plants.. just broke it in yesterday and now it runs like a champ.

anyone help.... I just ran inn my revo 3.3... I have onboard temp.. after high speed runs it reads 330f which is way to hot, it is richer then break inn settings still? using 20% byron fuel... also will not wheelie..... any ideas... PS I understand that the leaner yo run it the faster it is (to a point) but I cant lean it out else it over heats....... so I dont know....

@initiatededdeano sometimes you dont need to look at the temps run it slower, also on a hot day some can get over 350 so it is fine, as long as you dont run it too fast, long, or lean.after several days of this you should be able to run it regular, have you broken it in yet?

Sounds like you may have an air leak also. This could cause the engine to run hot, and not perform. You should take the engine apart, remove carb, header, cooling head, and starter box, and use a high temp gasket sealant. Good luck.

@RyanRNewberg already have done this cant find any leaks,, maybe from around th slider on carb but it has no seals to replace so I think thats ok, I still have smoke even at high speed and it doesnt stall or anything so maybe its ok I just need to let it cool for a while... seems to cool very quickly anyway.. I have anouther brand new 3.3 too so I will just use it til it blows lol..
