Brushless is a type of electric motor that doesn't have brushes. I only know of 1 brushless motor which is the new traxxas brushless system. So to answer your question no brushless doesn't mean waterproof.

@CamaroRS1011 brushless engines got much more power than brushed engines but there are not waterproofed
